Introduction

Peter Bini Advanced Flight Training (PBAFT) was established at Moorabbin in 1978, specialising in training for the Command Instrument Rating (CIR). Gradually the operation was expanded to cover all levels of flying training from Private Pilot Licence to Airline Transport Pilot Licence (theory). The school is held in high regard by past students and the industry. The school holds the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) award for excellence in flying training. The school and the Chief Flying Instructor (CFI) have each received the Aviation Safety Award. In 2006 A&M Products purchased the school and the existing fleet was expanded to offer an impressive range of company owned aircraft. This enables a student to start flying without any prior exposure and if desired, continue right through to airline standard. All theory and licence testing is conducted by the CFI who is a CASA Approved Test Officer (ATO). Many of our former students are now pursuing successful careers as airline pilots within Australia and overseas. Flying is conducted in company owned and maintained aircraft.


Credentials
PBAFT is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and an Endorsed Provider of courses to as such the Australian Taxation office has ruled that Certificate III in Aviation, Aeroplanes, Private Pilot Licence and Certificate IV in Aviation, Aeroplanes, Commercial Pilot Licence are GST exempt.
