Introduction
Basic Flying Training
Here’s where the real fun begins. You will be taught basic aircraft control. Procedures include takeoffs and landings, flying straight and level, climbing, descending, and turning the aeroplane. You will also learn exactly how to handle in-flight emergencies. All of this training will teach you how to safely pilot an aeroplane by yourself. The best part is that all training is one on one and personally tailored to each individual. You can fly as much or as little as you like, however generally it is better to fly more frequently as this reduces the time needed to revise past sequences. The minimum age for issue of the Private Pilot Licence is 17 years, however, training may commence at any age. Your 1st Solo is permitted at 16 years of age.

Full time training will take about 2 months. For a commercial licence, the 150 hour course will take approximately 12 months full time. If you elect to undertake training on an ad-hoc basis, the minimum number of hours you must have will increase to 200hrs and this will take you between 2-3 years to acquire.
